Take a train to Ajmer Junction (nearest railhead), then a 12km taxi or bus to Pushkar. Direct buses from Jaipur available.
Winter months offer cool, pleasant weather (15β28Β°C). Avoid AprilβJune β desert heat can exceed 45Β°C.
Cover shoulders and knees when visiting temples and ghats. Remove shoes before entering any sacred area.
